A YOGA WEEKEND AT ALOHA HOUSE IN KILLORGLIN, KERRY
JULY 2-4
A whole weekend of Scaravelli inspired yoga, tantric inspired meditations to wake up and spread the love in your heart, rest and walks in fairy tale forests, with a swim if you feel like it, rock pool or sea… and intuitively prepared food by a chef who loves and knows cooking but does not like recipes… yet will show you how to prepare healthy meals with what is in season.
I’m so looking forward to teaching yoga again, guiding you deep into your body so that you can be in asanas and feel the inner connections, the lightness that comes with those discoveries, the strength and the peace. We will explore some tantric visualisation meditations that intend to connect you to your inner heart more, soften and open you up more to joy and a feeling of love for yourself and the world…
Jim Dempsey, the chef, began cooking at 12 years old, was a natural whole food cook at 16 and still cooks everyday. He studied macrobiotics mostly but only to confirm his instincts, not as a dietary rule. Jim taught food and cooking in Ireland, The Netherlands and the US, and is also a tour guide with food never far away. Since I know Jim he is at home on food markets, in his kitchen, off to cheese makers and loves stone circles. We met at a story telling work shop on Cape Clear a few years ago and I’ve tasted what he cooked with delight. And so it will be very much about our senses, on the mat and in the kitchen… join us for a relaxing moving breathing delicious weekend to gather energy and learn tools to build resilience for what is there to come this year ahead and beyond….
